The Maharashtra government has submitted an affidavit to the Central Empowered Committee (CEC), saying that a fine amount of Rs 35 crore should be imposed on windmills and resorts that were installed in the Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary, a part of the Sahyadri Tiger Reserve (STR).
