The sudden drop in atmospheric pressure on Monday evening resulted in heavy showers and hailstorms in the city from 5.45pm to 6.05 pm. The India Meteorological Department has reported 8mm rainfall accompanied with winds, forcing pedestrians and two-wheeler riders to take shelter.
