Kolhapur civic body charges 4% Local Body Tax on new vehicles

The Kolhapur Municipal Corporation (KMC) is charging 4% Local Body Tax (LBT) on new vehicles even though the state government is yet to approve the civic administration's proposal to increase the tax from 1.5% to 4%.
